Fort Granby
Fort Granby
Fort Granby, situated on the eastern coast of Tobago near Studley Park, was once the main British defense post for this part of the island. Built in the 18th century, it guarded the coast from naval attacks but now exists mostly as a historic site with remnants of its past. The fort’s location provides stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, and the surrounding area has been transformed into a park with lush greenery and picnic spots. It’s a peaceful and less-visited site, perfect for a quiet retreat into Tobago’s history and natural beauty.
