Service for Noor at Queen's Hall

A public interfaith thanksgiving service in celebration of the life of the late former President Noor Hassanali will take place next Wednesday at Queen's Hall from 10 a.m.

Members of the public who cannot be accommodated inside Queen's Hall will be seated in tents erected on the grounds of the hall, from where they can view the proceedings on large-screen monitors.

The public will be advised of parking arrangements and there will be a shuttle service from the various car parks to Queen's Hall, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement yesterday.

Meanwhile the public is advised that condolence books will be opened at Knowsley, 1 Queen's Park West, Port of Spain; the City Halls in Port of Spain; San Fernando and Arima; and the Tobago House of Assembly in Tobago from next Wednesday to September 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
